Woke up and hair felt.. the same as it usually does. Brushed it with a boar bristle brush (bbb) and the roots seemed to get slightly greasy, which makes sense if you think about the brush as a tool to spread sebum (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sebum#Sebum) from the roots to the tips of your hair. I decided not to straighten my hair, because I usually use a heat-protecting spray and I need to do more research on whether or not that will derail my progress. Also because I used essential oils (although only a tiny bit) in my baking soda (bs) and apple cider vinegar (acv) mixes.
